If you are like me, then you are suffering Heroes withdrawal symptoms.
It's got so bad that I've even started watching Battlestar Galactica again, in the faint hope that it got better in the meantime. It hasn't. If anything it's drearier and slower than ever. There's been some truly awful episodes recently - the racist doctor one, and the 44 minutes of tedious Starbuck dreams followed by one minute of (obvious and unsurprising) drama at the end.
It's doubtful that I will make it to the end of the season with that show. Such a shame that such good work done by everyone barring the producers is going to waste. If they only injected a sense of purpose into the episodes and gave us some clue that they do actually know where they are going with it - I kind of get the feeling that they make it up as they go along each episode. I know they don't, but it feels like they do.
For example, the tedious Starbuck dreams would have had momentum if they'd split the dreams over 6 or 7 episodes, and given no clue as to what would happen to her in the next episode. As that episode stood it was obvious and inevitable what was going to happen, it was just a question of impatiently tolerating those boring dreams to get there.
It's slipping in the ratings, so I guess I'm not alone in my views. However, rather than cancel it, I'd really like them to fire the producers and carry on with someone that has experience of keeping tension week to week. The writing, direction, design, acting, and especially the camerawork and effects are all magnificent - it deserves good production.
Ok, rant over, on to happier things...
Never fear, Heroes will return next month, and in the meantime here's some incredible pics of Hayden to keep you company.
Leather trousers, little shorts and some skin tight clothes that grace her curviness beautifully. She really is curvy, but cute womanly curvy, Monroe curvy. Very nice indeed.
If you look closely there's even a few VPL's too.
